The powerful Tulane Green Wave baseball team beat the Nicholls State Colonels 13-3 on Tuesday night at Ben Didier Field in Thibodaux.With the victory, the Green Wave improved their record to 7-1.Connor Rasmussen led Tulane’s attack with two hits and four RBI.

This suspect has been taken back into custody. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office had a work release inmate who walked off a job site on Thursday, Feb. 20. Markel Alexander, 35, was serving a four-year sentence for Possession with Intent to Distribute and Resisting an Officer.

On February 4, 2025, officers from the Hammond Police Department Street Crimes Unit were conducting a search for Jerret Cook, 37 years old of Hammond, who was wanted on felony warrants. HPD officers located Cook driving a vehicle on Campo Street.
