Celtic Heritage Festival Hosts Visiting Queens Event

• According to Southeastern Police, a tailgating incident yielded injuries in Southeastern’s Friendship Circle on Saturday at approximately 1:30 PM. During the tailgate, an individual lost control of a golf cart, resulting in five injuries and two people being transported to North Oaks Hospital.

Art, Lectures, Theatre and Music Highlight Fanfare’s Opening

HAMMOND – An art exhibit, lectures, musical concerts and theater performances are just some of the events scheduled during the opening of the 38th season of Fanfare, Southeastern Louisiana University’s annual fall arts festival.

Young Anglers Compete in Fishing Rodeo

Approximately 200 young fishers dropped their lines in the lagoon at Zemurray Park on Saturday, September 16, during the first annual Andy’s Fishing Rodeo for Kids, hosted by Kids Church in the Park.
