Wednesday Volunteers for Family and Community (WVFC) gathered together to make crafts for their booth at the Hungarian Heritage Day. It will be held on Saturday, April 5, from 10am-5pm, at the Albany Hungarian Presbyterian Church at 30795 Hungarian Presbyterian Church Rd.

Local Author to Release Third Book

Lee Roy Pitre of Ponchatoula, a retired Louisiana Army National Guard officer, retired software engineer, and local author, is preparing for the upcoming release of his third book. This forthcoming work is a historical documentary focusing on the lives and times of his Cajun and Acadian ancestors.
