Who’s Behind the Windows?

When driving through Ponchatoula, it is hard to miss all the local businesses with beautiful holiday artwork on their windows. You may have even caught the artist responsible for these masterpieces in action.

Santa Visits Independence in Style

The final attraction of the Independence Christmas parade on Sunday night was an unusual sleigh ride for Santa Claus and his elf – Independence Fire Department’s classic 1968 Mack Fire Engine. The engine was retired from service but still pumps, according to the volunteer fire fighter at the wheel.
