ROBIN WASHINGTON

Robin, age 69, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, November 11, 2023. He was a native of New Orleans, and a recent resident of Hammond, LA. Robin proudly served his community as a professional fireman, where he ultimately retired after many years. Robin was a gifted writer who published three children’s books. His lifelong green thumb blessed his family and friends throughout his life. Robin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Robin is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl; daughters, Robin, Kyva, and Kikia; sons, Dwayne, Jason, Akene, and Noah; brothers, George, Alfred, Errol, and Phillip; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Robin is preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha; brother, Jackie; parents, George and Ruby Mae Washington; and grandparents, Arthur Jasmine, Annie Miller Jasmin, John Washington, and Florence Washington.
