Carolyn Louise Brown passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 83. She was born on Wednesday, June 26, 1940, in McDavid, Florida to the late Mary L. McKinley Chastain and the late Wallace H. Chastain, Sr. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Carolyn retired from Springfield High School. Carolyn is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Marquis “Mark” D. Woodall and Anna Adamcewicz Woodall; grandchildren, Ashley Johnson and Marquis “Mark” D. Woodall II; great-grandchildren, Bryce Johnson, Elijah Johnson, and Brendan Johnson; and siblings, Bennett Chastain (Doreen), Ramona Barnette (Jackie), and Elaine Perry (Phillip). In addition to her parents, Carolyn is also preceded in death by her; husband, Terance A. Brown; son, Trent A. Brown; and brother, Wallace H. Chastain, Jr.
