JOEL “LARRY” JONES SR.

Joel “Larry” Jones Sr. passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 73. He was born on Thursday, October 19, 1950, in Independence, Louisiana to the late Sadie Marie and Joel Lee Martin Jones. He was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana. Joel is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Debbie Jones; sons, Joel Larry Jones, Jr. (Amy Johnson Jones), Brandon Jones (Amber Hines Jones); grandchildren, Braxton, Breanne, and Brayden Sharp; Kaleigh and Kenzie Jones; Brody, Bailey, and Brooks Jones; and his great-grandchildren, Jayda Dawn and Braison Sharp. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Marie Jones; grandchild, Kamryn Dawn Jones; parents, Sadie Marie and Joel Lee Martin Jones; and brother, Rodney Jones.
