BECKIE “RHENETTE” CARTER BECK

Beckie “Rhenette” Carter Beck passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 69. She was born on Friday, September 17, 1954, in Greensburg, Louisiana to the late Edra Mae Lea and the late Prentiss Henson Carter, Jr. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Rhenette studied all across the world to learn her craft, visiting places like London and Boston to study hair design. More than anything, she loved her family, especially her son and her two granddaughters. Rhenette is survived by her loving husband, Barry Beck; granddaughters, Sydney Gill and Carlea Gill; daughter-in-law, Dale Gill; sister-in-law, Sheree Carter; and nieces and nephews, Shanna Barberio, Tiffany Wale, Tanya Dew, D’ette Piglia, Bronson Bridges, and April Anzalone. In addition to her parents, Rhenette is also preceded in death by her only child, Adam Gill; and her siblings, Kevin Carter and Karlette Bridges.
