Charles “Charlie” Michael Ciolino, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 76. He was born on Thursday, June 26, 1947, in Hammond, Louisiana, to the late Joe and Francis Ciolino.
Charlie loved the Catholic Church and was an usher for many years. But above all, he loved his family, especially our momma. He used to wake us kids up every morning for school while whistling, saying, “Tweet, tweet! That’s bird talk for rise and shine!” Tweet, tweet, daddy. We know you’ve risen and are shining right by Momma’s side.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Christine Kling Ciolino; parents, Joe and Francis Ciolino; and son, Brett Kling (Christy). Charlie is survived by brother, Frank Ciolino; daughters, Summer Vicknair (Donald) and Sara Ciolino (Jaimie); grandchildren, Brittany and BJ Kling (Nicole); greatgranddaughters, Lucy and Blyss; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
