Pearl Junkins Travis Dykes was born May 9, 1937, in Kennedy, AL, and passed away peacefully surrounded by family.
She is survived by her sister, Susan Griggs; stepchildren, Kenny and Betty Aron, Joseph and Jacky Dykes, and Faye Carney; daughter-in-law, Judy Travis; grandchildren, Beverlee (Adam) Clay, Joey Dykes, M-Kayla Dykes, Maggie Dykes, D.J. Watson, Randy Watson, and Allyson Watson; her dearest friend in Christ, Mrs. Mary Rushing; and numerous greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Travis; their son, Norman Wayne Travis; grandson, Dennis Wayne Travis; her second husband, Coy Dykes, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Chapel Rae Dykes; two sisters, Mildred Patterson and Peggy Hoover; brother, Sam Junkins; Stepchildren, Jimmy, Carl, Phillip and Ruthie Dykes, Eugene Travis, and Lila Watson.
