George Navarre, 65, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, with his loving wife by his side. He attended LA Tech and graduated from LSU with a bachelor’s degree in construction. George has been a dedicated employee at Spartan Building Corporation as a Project Estimator since 1986. He enjoyed watching LSU football and visiting various breweries while traveling with his wife, Kim. George was a wonderful husband, brother, and friend who is deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Navarre; siblings, Travis Navarre (Sue), Adley Navarre Jr (Yvonne), Patsy Navarre, and Myra Gaudin; brother-in-law, Skip Tye (Tara); sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Carr; niece-inlaw, Fianna Tye; nephews-in-law, Tobin Tye, Thomas Carr, and Liam Carr; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding George in death are his son, Eric Navarre; parents, Adley Navarre Sr. and Mary Boudreaux Navarre; and numerous siblings.
