John, 87, joined the Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. He was a resident of Hammond, LA. John proudly served his country in the United States Army. He dedicated his life to education and was the first TOPS Administrator until he retired at 80. John was extremely active in his church, serving as an Elder for over 20 years. He took his relationship with the Lord very seriously and shared his faith with anyone who would listen. John was a true family man and was happiest surrounded by those he loved. He was a wonderful husband, a loving father, and the best Granddaddy you could ever have. John will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Robbye Bell; daughter, Andrea Bell; son, Kirk Bell (Karen); sister, Myra McGee; brothers, Wayne, Richard, and Milton Bell; granddaughter, Kymberleigh Bell-Killett (Stephen); great-grand-daughter, Gabby Killett; and fur babies, Max and Minnie. John is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Oletha Bell, and brothers, Harold and Lloyd Bell.
