Allen J. Lloyd passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, in Hammond, Louisiana, at 55. He was born on Friday, May 24, 1968, in Hammond, Louisiana, to Ruby Craig Lloyd and the late Ronald J. Lloyd. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Allen was a man of many talents. He worked and attended First Christian Church. Allen was a real estate agent at Hammond Realty Group and the owner of Sir-Reel Studios. He also wrote the entertainment guide for the Daily Star newspaper and was the director at The Reimers Theater. Allen owned The Indy Coffee House, a venue that brought an original music scene to Hammond, LA, and allowed all artists to perform and entertain a crowd. Allen was best known for being the most generous, supportive, loving, guitar-playing Husband, Dad, Son, Uncle, and Gramps.
Allen is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Lori Dominguez Lloyd; Children, Victoria Lloyd (Stephen Costin), Ryker Lloyd, and Ashley Meliet (Michael); grandchildren, Amelia Costin-Lloyd, Gabriel and Iris Meliet; mother, Ruby Craig Lloyd; brother, Ronnie Lloyd; and nephew, Dylan Lloyd. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald J. Lloyd, and grandparents, Landis and Inez Lloyd, and Leonard and Almitty Craig.
