Mary Virginia Easley Wilson, of Kentwood, Louisiana, passed away at her home on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the age of 77. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Tammy Burnette Wheat (Edward); son, Jeff Burnette; grandchildren, Elizabeth DeLaSalle Vining (Daniel), and Austin M. Burnette (Lauren Brooks); great grandchildren, Alexis Brenna Vining, Beau Michael Vining, Bristol Raine Vining, and Devereaux DeLéon Burnette; and brother, Lee Thames (Lori).

Roy Len Anthony passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 59. Roy is survived by his loving wife Anita Anthony; children, Jonathan and Kimberly Anthony; grandchildren, Justin and Jordan Anthony; brothers, Darren “Doc” Anthony (Donna) and Jeremy Anthony (Michelle); nephews, Chase and Mason Anthony, as well as many aunts and uncles.

Tony Joseph DiBenedetto passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at his home in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 84. Tony is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Brenda Loper DiBenedetto; daughter, Crystal DiBenedetto Burkhalter and her husband, Andrew Burkhalter of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; son, Michael Tony DiBenedetto and his wife, Wendy DiBenedetto, of Cypress, Texas; granddaughters, Catherine Camille Burkhalter, Caroline Louise Burkhalter, and Hannah Grace DiBenedetto; grandson, Thomas Harrison DiBenedetto; and brother, Frank DiBenedetto, Sr., and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Brenda Joy Barron Latino was born on May 2, 1944 to the late Ralph H. Barron, Sr. and Ruth Winkler Barron. She passed away peacefully on December 30, 2023 in Covington, LA. Brenda was a resident of Ponchatoula and is survived by her husband of 58 years, Guy Frank Latino; son, Michael Latino; daughter, Nancy Penton (Jeff). Brenda is survived by her three grandchildren Eric Latino (Kori); Kimberly Lirette (Ryan); and Matthew Latino; and her great grandchildren Avery Latino, Aubrey Latino, Anna Lirette, and Clayton Lirette. Brenda is also survived by her brother Danny Barron (Cynthia).

Clare Goudeau Tallo, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the age of 88. She was born on Wednesday, March 6, 1935, to the late Louis and Ora Goudeau. Clare is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Tallo and Joanna Roubique, sister, Eloise Anderson, brother, Pat Goudeau, grandchildren, Brittany Bickford, Robbie Roubique (Brittney), Corey Roubique, great-grandchildren, Parker Roubique, Lawson Roubique, Rowen Roubique, Greyson Roubique, Ethan Thompkins and Dayton Hernandez.

Thomas Wayne “Tommy” Thompson was born in Natalbany, LA, June 12, 1939, to the late Luther Lee Thompson and Gladys Iola Johnson Thompson. He passed away January 1, 2024, at his home in Tickfaw, LA. Tommy was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and a retired boilermaker with Local Union 37. He enjoyed football, fishing, camping, and repairing things. Tommy is survived by his wife of 56 years, JoAnn Musacchia Thompson; sons, Terry Thompson (Sharry) and Kevin Thompson (Athena); brothers, Kenny and Cecil Thompson; grandchildren, Kali, Cody, Kaci, Katherine, Lynlee and Patrick, and a great grandson, Rhett.

Rose Theresa “Tootie” Nicotri, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, at the age of 87. Rose, a loving Mother of her son, Eric Nicotri and wife Kelly of Belle Chasse, LA; grandchildren, Dawn and Andrew Beyl of Gonzales, LA; sister, Ann Marie Kinchen and husband Benny Ray of Tickfaw, LA; brother, Tommy Nicotri and wife Judie of Watson, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Wilfred Joseph Cintron, a resident of Tickfaw, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 86. Wilfred is survived by his daughter, Maureen Cintron; son & daughter-in-law, Willie, Jr. & Audrey Cintron; son, Richard Cintron; grandchildren Faith Mancil, Mark Mancil, Adelina Cintron, Richard Cintron, Peter Cintron, and James Cintron; great-grandchildren, Roselynn and Khloe; brother, Hiram Colon, Jr.; and sister, Matilda Castro.

Ike Richardson, (Isaac Singletary Richardson) of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away in the early morning hours on January 2, 2024. He is survived by: His devoted wife Brenda Herring Richardson and his children, Carl Ike Richardson (wife Jeanna), Karen Wall, and Brenda Olivia Richardson; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Jennie Richardson Pearson (husband Larry), Luella Richardson Resetar (husband Donald), Jessie Richardson Roberts (husband Raymond), Eva Gayle Richardson Lott (husband Jimmy), Virginia Ann (VA) Richardson Bourn (husband Bobby); and brother, Phillip Kemp Richardson (Partner Susan McKneely).

Christine Patricia “Patsy” Penalber Kennedy, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the age of 76. Patsy is survived by her children, Ronald “Brett” Kennedy, Kelly Dexter Kennedy (Abby), Monica Darnell Rhodus (Tim), and Rhonda McLin; grandchildren, Justin Kennedy, Laken Lanoux, Jourdan Raney and her husband Dylan, Megan Foxworth (Michael), Kris Lanoux (Star Diaz), Katie Lanoux, Nicholas, Mary, Gabe and Kelsey Kennedy, and Ashley Lanoux; great grandchildren, Avery Foxworth, Payton Lanoux and Sawyer Raney; brother, Emmanuel Penalber; sister-in-law, Deanna Kennedy; brother-in-law, Kurt Kennedy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Lorraine Z. Roussel, age 81, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her sons, Carl Wempren Sr. and wife Bridget; Randy Wempren and wife Ranell, Dirk Zeringue Sr. and wife Rachel; grandchildren, Carl Jr. “CJ”, Johnny, Jenny and husband Kodie, Jamie, Ashley and husband Max, Dirk Jr. “DJ”; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as her sisters-in-law, Darlene and Sammie Wempren.

Elizabeth Ann Wallace Warmbir, of Hammond, Louisiana, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the age of 88. Ann is survived by her children, Joan Kirby and Mike Warmbir; grandchildren, Allison Warmbir Cooke (James) and Jerin Kirby; great granddaughter, Sophia Marie Cooke; and sister, Marjorie Harrison.

Nezuko Princessa Reign Anderson, of Hammond, Louisiana, went to be with the Lord in Heaven on Monday, January 1, 2024, at the age of 2 months and 29 days. Nezuko leaves behind her loving parents, Aasinio and Terrione; sister, Reginae Womack; grandparents, Lajeaune Womack-Prioleau and husband Barry, Terrence Dees, Sr., and Cathy Anderson; great grandparents, Patricia Womack and Deloris Eddington; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.

Salvador Anthony Mulle, Jr., a resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He is survived by his son, Shane Cutrer; grandson, Landon Conner Cutrer; sisters-in-law, Sandra Mulle, Nell Bennett (Earl), Florence Hatfield (Ricky), and Barbara Ann Cutrer (Tina); brotherin- law, Bobby Cutrer (Kim); nieces, Lisa Krake (Allen) and Stephanie Mulle; nephews, Jimmy Mulle, Jr. (Barbara) and Mike Mulle, Jr.; great-nieces, Amy Vanderhooft (Josh), Abby Hodgson (Jeff), Katie Mulle (Randi), and Tasha Terrell; great-nephews, Allen Krake, Jr. and Mike Mulle, III; numerous great-great nieces and nephews.

Leota Ann Bornes “Le” Cambetta, a resident of Independence, LA, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Landmark Nursing Home in Hammond, LA. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Cambetta Gabardi and husband, Glen; two sons, Joel Cambetta and James Cambetta and wife, Diana; five grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Julius Cambetta; son, Jeffrey A. Cambetta, parents, Emmanuel and Margaret Bornes; sister, Virginia Fontenot; father-inlaw and mother-in-law, Joe and Bena Cambetta; brotherin-law, Marion Cambetta.

Eugene A. Rodriguez, age 88, a native of Independence, Louisiana, and long-time resident of New Orleans/ Ponchatoula, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and children. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret, and his daughters Helen Ingolia (Roy) and Carol Rodriguez. His granddaughters, Ashley Ingolia and Amber Ingolia. One brother, Henry “Junior” Rodriguez (Delores), and two sisters, Vinnie Gatlin and Joyce Farmer. He had a loving sister-in-law, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Henry and Josephine Rodriguez, and brothers, Joseph, George, Charlie, and Bobby Rodriguez.

Julie Ann Sims Jones, a lifelong resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at her residence. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Ashley Marie Bridges, Angel Bridges Newman (Matthew), and Amber Lane Bridges; 3 grandchildren, Aniston Newman, Alstyn Newman, and Emmitt Newman; sister-in-law, Ann Smith; nephew, Jonathan Sims; niece, Sherry Smith Sassone (Chris); great-nieces, Logan Slaven, Jasie Sims, and Lanna Sims.

Wallace Osborne Hendry, Jr., a resident of Rogers, AR, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Jamestown Nursing and Rehab in Rogers, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Arnone Hendry; five children, Dennis Hendry, Tammy Bendily and husband, Milton, Deanna Bourgoyne and husband, Joey, Shannon Badely and husband, Rod, and Donna Lynn Davidson and husband, Les; grandchildren, Denee’ Cox and husband, Justin, Kayla Mc-Cullough and husband, Hunter, Brooke Bourgoyne, Blaire Bourgoyne, Brock Badely and Jourdan Badely; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Louis Grevenig Plaisance passed away on Saturday, 30 December 2023. He is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Rita Plaisance, his sons, Jeff Plaisance, David Stewart, Kevin Stewart, and Tristan Whatley, his brother, Paul Plaisance, and various other nieces and nephews.

Terry Francis Lee, age 83, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023. He was a native of Amite, LA and a resident of Hammond, LA. Terry proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a cook, mechanic, machinist, freight line driver, barkeeper, and private eye. Terry was also an actor, musician, and storyteller.

David Bridges Raborn, age 63, went to his Heavenly home on Monday, January 1, 2024. He was a resident of Springfield, LA. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Barbara Ann Raborn; daughter, Kaci Tassin (Darryl); sons, Joseph “Joey” Raborn (Sharee), Floyd Fayard and fiancée, Becky Lindsey, Michael Wesley Fayard (Latrecha); sister, Nancy Raborn Hutchinson; brothers, Charles Raborn Sr. (Sandy), Russell Raborn (Barbara); half-sister, Cheri Raborn Anbar (Yousef); nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marilyn Jo Adams, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, LA. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Adams; daughter, Lori Rece; grandchildren, Krysti Jo Rece, Brittany Elise Brown and Holly Jo Rece; Great-grandchildren, Grayson Jerry Rece, Josie Rayne Rece and four fantastic foster children.

Willie Eugene Gainey, age 86, of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Michael Goodell, Yvette Peterson, Tina Ayers, Tammy Casey, Robin Accardo, Betty Ratcliff; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; siblings, Bobby Gainey and Pat Bohning.

Mary Horning Hester, age 87, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2024. She was a resident of Hammond, LA. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, George Hester; daughter, Linda Taylor (Steve); sons, Dan Hester (Amy), David Hester (Gaye); sister, Lola Sniff (Jerry); grandchildren, Brandon Taylor (Stephanie), Ryan Taylor (Kristen), Katie King (Jordan), Bridget Hester, Clark Hester (Arielle), Gabriel Hester, Jonathan Hester; and 11 great-grandchildren.

David Tallo Sr., age 63, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024. He was a resident of Tickfaw, LA. He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Tallo; sons, David Tallo Jr. (Melanie), Brian Tallo and fiancée, Destiny Davis; sisters, Becky Dufrene (Ron), Julie Tallo, Janet Piediscalzo (Chris), Mary Lavigne (Dennis); brothers, Richard Tallo, Steve “Bubby” Tallo Jr.; mother of his children, Lisa Vitrano; beloved dog, Mella; numerous nieces and nephews; life long best friend, Frank Milazzo; and hunting buddy and cousin, Ricky DePaula.
