Janet passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the wonderful age of 100. She was born in the City of Bath, England. Janet met and married her handsome American Military husband during World War II. Richard loved his ‘War-Bride,’ and Janet certainly loved him in return. Janet came to the United States and resided in her new home country for over 77 years. She loved doing a variety of crafts, such as quilting and sewing. Janet was an avid reader and traveled the world, visiting countries like China, Brazil, Ecuador, and many US states. Her favorite was camping on Cape Cod. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Kasabian; sons, Terence Kasabian and Robert Kasabian; sister, Sheila Elkin; brother, Alan Lock; grandchildren, Dakota Chichester, Jarrett Chichester, Brittany Berthelot, Sierra Chichester, Cougar Chichester, Connor Kasabian; and five great-grandchildren. Janet is preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard H. Kasabian.
