A Greensburg, LA resident passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. She was born December 7, 1940, in Easleyville, LA, and was 82. Miss Linda retired after 30 years of service with the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Kasey Reeves Foster (Zachery) and Lucas Reeves (Kailyn); three great-grandchildren, Saphera Foster, Ronen Foster, and Evelyn Reeves; brother, Sylvester Humphrey; sister, Lolita Blades; niece, Mindy Simmons Carter (Mitch); and great-niece, Sydni Brown. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie L. Reeves; two sons, William Boyd Reeves and Calvin West Reeves; parents, Percy and Thelma Birch Humphrey; sister, Paulette Simmons; niece, Deana Simmons Warwick; and two nephews, Clifton Wayne Simmons and Brian Blades.
