Mary Elizabeth Mayfield McDonald was born September 1, 1948, in Bogalusa to the late Horace and Marie Reddish Mayfield. She passed away on December 14, 2023, at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, David McDonald, Joel McDonald (Marisa), John McDonald, and Mark Fox; sister, Linda Varga (Charles); brother, Jay Mayfield; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
