Carrie Yvonne Laird Wagner
Carrie Yvonne Laird Wagner, 82, passed away on a sunny Tuesday, August 11th, 2026, with her two sons holding her hands.
She is survived by and missed by her sons Oliver Wayne Wagner and Malcolm Wagner; her beloved grandchildren, Amy (Tony) Karmeisool, Rebecca (Spencer) Martens, Bret (Maggie) Wagner, Emily (Rhett) Wilson, and Devin Wall; great-grandchildren, Addyson and Brooklyn Karmeisool Norah and Charlotte and Martens.
Ms. Wagner also had numerous nieces and nephews whom she considered to be her own children.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur & Emily Reeves Laird and her siblings Gordon “Dan” (Helen) Laird, Wilbur “Buddy” (Barbara) Laird, and Carol Laird Fancher.
Carrie wanted all her friends and family not to worry, because she knew Jesus Christ and is going to be with Him and her beloved family in Heaven. A memorial gathering (non-formal) will be held on Carrie’s Birthday on September 17, 2026, at “Aunt Gerry’s” house in Tickfaw from 2-4 pm. Contact Malcolm if you need directions.
