Mr. Patrick “Pat” Lynn Hosack peacefully passed amongst his family on Saturday, 18 November 2023, at his home in Hammond, Louisiana. Pat had a largerthan- life demeanor of kindness and a loving heart. He was a protector and fostered a sense of security and comfort for everyone in his presence. He loved fishing, hunting, riding his Harley, his dogs, and, above all else, his family. Pat was a doting and affectionate husband to his wife, a strong and guiding father to his sons, and a valuable friend. He valued a simple but vibrant life of love and happiness, inspiring others to “do the right thing.” Pat will leave an unmistakable void in this earthly world, but his legacy will live on in the family he grew up with and the friends he inspired.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann (McCaskill); sons, Christopher Daly (Meghan) and Edward Lynn (Yumi); siblings, Susan Worley, James Floyd, David Schaefer, and Jane Hosack; and grandchildren, Shelby Taylor, Reese Daly, Manami, and Toru. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kerfoot Daly and Joyce Connell.
