This week’s Campus Corner started on Saturday when Lion track & field’s Donroy Brown entered the school record books with a throw of 18.70 meters in the shotput at the Tucson Throws Elite Classic, hosted by the University of Arizona. His toss broke the old record of 18.

Tulane Baseball Advances to the AAC Championship Game

The Tulane Green Wave baseball team has advanced to the championship game of the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Tournament.The Green Wave are the two-time defending champions of the American Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament winning the championship in 2023 and 2024.

PHS Sports Digest

Green Wave football is hosting their annual golf tournament at Oak Knoll Country Club in Hammond on June 7th. It costs $125 per player and $500 per team to participate. Food and drinks will be provided.The tournament will start at 8am, and lunch and awards will follow.

This week’s Campus Corner sees a new Lady Lion, as well as big news for a couple of guys who finished their SLU careers this year. On Monday, first year women’s Head Basketball Coach Jeff Dow and his staff filled out his roster for the 2025-26 season, signing Taylor Ross to a scholarship.

Tulane Swept in Series Against Charlotte

The Tulane Green Wave baseball team was swept in a three-game series against the Charlotte 49ers.The sweep was particularly bad because it was against an American Athletic Conference (AAC) opponent and was the last series before the American Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament this week.
