Unfortunately, it was a successful return for several former Southeastern Lady Lions on Thursday night when the McNeese State Cowgirls picked up a 72-30 win in the University Center in Southland Conference basketball action.

On Monday night, the Southeastern Lion basketball team wrapped up a twogame Southland Conference road swing in the Lone Star state, dropping a heartbreaker at the University of Texas Rio-Grande Valley, 6865.

Green Wave boys’ basketball lost their only game of the week last week in a hardfought battle against Dutchtown. Despite the boys being up by 5 at halftime, Dutch-town outscored the Wave 30-18 in the second half to take the win by a final score of 48-41.The Wave now sit at 4-9 on the season.
