After a season-opening series win over Tarleton State in Hammond to start the season, the Lions baseball team hit the road for the first time, traveling to Alabama for a four-game.The road swing started with a 9-1 loss in Mobile to South Alabama on Wednesday night.

The red-hot Lady Lion Softball team improved to 12-3 on the 2024 season after taking four out of five in the Texas A&M Invitational last week. A mixed bag saw Southeastern win a pair by run rule and another two victories in that went the distance.
